Solo Work
Key was featured in Xiah's solo performance, "Xiahtic", in TVXQ's concert in 2009: The 3rd Asia Tour Mirotic, in Seoul. In 2010, he was also featured in another song, "Healing" on TRAX's mini album, "Trax Mini Album Volume 1".
Later, Key was a part of Girls Generation's song, "Boys & Girls", on their second album, "Oh!". Key was lso featured in Girls Generation's first live album, The 1st Asia Tour: Into The New World Album, in the song, "Barbie Girl". He sang alongside Girls Generation's member, Jessica Jung. Key has also featured in Girls Generation's Im Yoona's solo performance for Girls Generation's 1st Asia Tour: Into The New World at Shanghai in the song, "If You Find A Cool Guy, Please Introduce Me".
He has also sung a few American songs such as, "Firework" by Katy Perry, "Take A Bow" by Rihanna, "Judas" by Lady Gaga, "Tik Tok" By Ke$ha, and "My First Kiss" by 3OH!3. He sang "My First Kiss" with F(X)'s Krystal and his fellow member, Taemin.
Leeteuk of Super Junior collaborated with Key and sang the song "Bravo" for a drama called "History of Salaried Man". Key also rapped in EXO's song "2 Moons" on EXO's debut album, "MAMA" and BoA's song "One Dream" with Henry of Super Junior-M. The song became the theme song for SBS's "Kpop Star".
Acting Career
In 2011, Key started being an actor. He debuted with the role of Lee Hyun Do in Moon Night 90, with fellow member, Taemin.
He was a cast of Frank Abagnale Jr.,rotating with Um Ki Joon, Kim Jeong Hoon, Park Kwang Hyun and Kyuhyun of Super Junior, Sunny of Girls Generation and CSJH The Grace's Dana in the Korean production of Broadway Musical Catch Me If You Can, for his theatrical debut. Key has also made a cameo appearance in SBS's Sitcom "Salamander Guru and The Shadows". He appeared in episode 4.
On October 24, 2012, it was said that Key is going to participate in the return of the Korean adaption of the broadway musical, Catch Me If You Can. The production started on December 14, 2012 and it continued until February 9, 2013, at the Opera House in Seongname Arts Center. The cast was almost the same with Kijun Um, Kyuhyun, Dana, Sunny and Beast's Dongwoon.

Key appeared on the variety show, "Idol Maknae Rebellion", along with his fellow members, Taemin, Onew and Jonghyun on 2 episodes as guest stars with other idols: Dongho of U-KISS, Shorry-J of Mighty Mouth, Jinwoon of 2am, Yunhwa of T-max, Seunghyun of FT Island, and later, Mir of MBLAQ.
Key was also a part of the cast of the show, "Raising Idol".
Personal Life
Key was a varsity water skier at Dae Gu Yeong Shin Middle School before he debuted. He appeared in Super Junior's music video of "Wonder Boy" as an extra dancer. Key spent 6 weeks in America on an exchange.
Key was raised by his grandmother ever since he was born. After his mother gave birth to him, she felt very sick. His father was busy with his job so he couldn't take care of him. Key is known to be talented in speaking English, basic Chinese and Japanese.
