Solo Work

In 2009, Taemin played River Flows In You and Goodbye My Love on the piano while 8Eight was singing.In 2010, Taemin rapped for Girls Generation's first Asian Tour "Into The New World" in Shanghai with Key and Girls Generation's Im Yoona to the song, "Introduce Me To A Good Person". Taemin and IU had a special stage performance for "Korean Music Wave In Bangkok 2012". They had sang Gee, Juliette, and Hello. For the supportment for BoA, his fellow lable-mate, Taemin danced for her comeback stage of "Only One" and several more times after with her. On September 19th, Taemin had released a solo track called "U" for the Korean drama, To The Beautiful You. On October 16, 2012, Taemin and Eunhyuk and Henry from Super Junior, Hyoyeon from Girls Generation, Kai and Luhan from EXO has participated as a 6 member dance group for the Veloster theme song, Maxstep. It is a collaborate album between S.M.Entertainment and Hyundai. 

Voice Acting Career

On December 2011, Taemin took apart as a voice actor for the Korean animated movie called, The Outback. He played as the main character, Johnny, a white koala turned into a hero, alongside Girls Generation's Sunny, his fellow label-mate.

Television Shows

On January 2012, Taemin joined Immortal Song Season 2. He performed "Mapo Terminal" from from the Silver Bell Sister and completed it with musical actor , Im Taekyung. Both of them earned 376 votes.

On April 2013, Taemin took part on MBC's series, We Got Married, with APink's Naeun as a new couple. They filled the place of Ze:a's Kwanghee and Secret's Sunhwa, the previous idol couple.
